Tuition and Fees: Prices listed in this brochure include $175 per credit, a $44 fee per academic instruction fee, and a $14 per credit student comprehensive fee for Evening Courses and a $19 per credit for day classes. Tuition and fees are accurate as of the time of printing. NHTI is not responsible for typographic errors or changes in policy after printing which affects prices.
Accreditation: NHTI is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. Programs are accredited by specialized accrediting agencies where appropriate.
Employer Billing or Reimbursement: When an employer pays educational expenses, the student must obtain written authorization from the employer on official letterhead and attach it to the registration form for billing to occur. The authorization replaces tuition payment. If a student needs a course completion grade in order to be reimbursed by the employer, the student is required to pay for the course at the time of registration.
Financial Aid: Grants, loans, scholarships and college work-study may be available to students who have matriculated into a degree or certificate program and are enrolled on at least a half-time basis. For more information contact the Financial Aid Office at 271-7135.
Institutional Credit: Does not count towards graduation requirements but is calculated into GPA; not intended for transfer.
Section 504 Compliance & ADA Compliance: NHTI is compliant with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. It states in part: “No otherwise qualified handicapped individual… shall, solely by reason of his handicap, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.” Contact the Coordinator of Disabilities Services at 271-7723 for further information.
Senior Citizens Discount: There is a 50% tuition discount to New Hampshire residents age 65 or over on a space available basis for courses that have met minimum enrollment requirements. The students must pay for books, supplies, and mandatory fees. There are no discounts on workshops.
